A quiet bar over in the heart of the Warehouse District of downtown Minneapolis, Runyon's has one major thing going for it, their buffalo wings. An online review that this writer came across referred to the wings as so good, they caused nocturnal emissions. Despite unpleasant imagery, truer words were never spoken. Their wings are amazing and have that perfect balance of spice and flavor.
Sadly, there are a lack of specials, but the food can make it worth it. The decor and atmosphere looks very dive-bar-ish (in a good way though), and is worth mentioning that the staff is friendly and courteous and the crowd is the typical young bar-going type. In other words, Runyon's probably will not surprise you, if you're used to this kind of environment. However, the wings might. Definitely a place to go if you like your chicken in wing-form.
