Mayslacks is a classic Northeast bar featuring 2 large rooms and live music on the weekend. Most people are mid to upper 20's or local Northeast residents that are always down for a good time. The place is pretty big and has large wood booths in the bar.
The other room is for shows, often blues, rock, or jam bands. They open this room up for dancing, moving the tables to the back. Mayslacks gets a little rowdy on the weekend, charges cover (usually $3-8), and is hit or miss depending on the band, but is definitely worth checking out as a way to get away from downtown.
