The Beacon Public House is the Common Hotel's signature gastropub and restaurant, serving up gourmet burgers, classic cocktails, and upscale bar food.
This large, vintage modern masterpiece is on the to-do-list when on the University of Minnesota. Great for happy hour or late-night studying, you'll be happy you came in. Also check them out for game day! 10- 50" Plasmas hang above the bar and will feature Gophers, Vikings, Wild, and Twins. When there isn't a game, expect a montage of interesting video art.
There is also a private dining room and pool table for groups wishing to be a little removed or if you have a big class study session.
Though popular with local graduate students, professors, and neighborhood businessmen, all students and people should feel more than welcome, as the Beacon is a big step up in style compared to the other Stadium Village bars. Your friends will thank you for taking them here.
