Delights of India is now Tadka Indian Bistro. The name is new, but fans of Delights of India will recognize many of their favorite vegetarian dishes on our menu - and if you can't find them, just ask for them. They've changed the name because they changed their menu - they now serve seafood and meat dishes as well as an extensive selection of meatless dishes.
Tadka is the essence of Indian cooking and often translated as tempering, is a garnish or cooking technique used in the cuisines of India containing one or more spices/herbs fried briefly in oil or ghee in a frying-pan to release essential oils and thus enhance their flavors, before being poured into an entree' for harmonizing taste for the Mind and Body. They serve beer and wine but no hard alcohol.
