Herkimer Brew Pub is exactly the type of place we would love to own. A nice, usually full, but never packed, micro-brewery located in one of the hippest neighborhoods in Minneapolis. We like the food best! Try the Herkiburger if you really want a treat. They also offer several different beer choices (all their own) and their own brew of energy drink, Triple Caff. Most of their brews are pretty good, and multiple seasonal offerings are always changing.
The crowd is varied age and dress, but most are in their mid 20's to early 30's. They place easy listening music; rock'n'roll, pop, and a mix of other genres are chosen by the bartenders. They also have a small sidewalk patio that is nice for summer happy hours. We also like the service at Herkimer's; the help is friendly and quick without bothering you. So next time you are looking for a good beer in Uptown, get some friends together and head down to Herkimer's, we are sure you'll enjoy it.
Note: The Herkimer is a Packer bar and has Shuffle Board! Large Patio Seating at the Front and Side.
